Art With a Heart is a program in which we collaborate with select non-profit and charity organizations to help advance their worthy causes by allowing them to collect monetary and other donations and, distribute materials, network at our openings and engage in other collaborative projects.

Some of our previous collaborators include Malongo Orphanage, Recycle for the Arts, ACLU and Louisiana Bucket Brigade.

Ariodante supports The Louisiana Bucket Brigade, a non profit environmental health and justice organization working with communities affected by oil refineries and chemical plants.

Ariodante's Art With A Heart event for the January 2011 opening will benefit the Human Rights Campaign.

During our November 2009 opening on Friday, November 7th from 6-9 p.m. Ariodante will host a Meet & Greet with the American Civil Liberties Union of Louisiana.

Ariodante Gallery will host a fundraiser for PFLAG New Orleans which will take place January 9 at Ariodante Gallery. Here is an excerpt from PFLAG's newsletter about the event:

In this issue you will find a biographical sketch of Cheri Ben-Iesau, the featured artist for our fundraiser, which will take place January 9 at Ariodante Gallery on Julia St.  We are very excited about this.  Cheri is a wonderful artist as well as a wonderful person.  I love to go to her openings and when I see friends, I say,  "Would you like to meet the artist?  This is my daughter-in-law Cheri."  It's the little things that make me happiest!  We would love to see you at our fundraiser.  In fact, it will be a different kind of fundraiser.  We will have a bowl for donations.  So, you can give what you want.  What a novel concept during a recession.  I hope to see you there.

Ariodante is collaborating with the Jefferson Performing Arts Society for their annual Pasta and Puccini Gala / Silent and Online Auction to be held at the Intercontinental Hotel on Friday, October 16, 2009.  Part of the sale of select works of art and crafts from Ariodante will benefit. JPAS.

Ariodante is collaborating with the Symphony Chorus of New Orleans by supplying art, crafts and jewelry to their annual fundraising gala and silent auction to be held on Saturday, January 30, 2010. Part of the sale of select works of art and crafts from Ariodante will benefit SCNO.

During the closing reception of our February 2010 show, Ariodante will host a meet-and-greet fundraiser for Build Now.

Our March 2010 Art with a Heart will benefit the ASSOCIATION HAITIENNE DE DEVELOPMENT HUMAIN‏, INC to support their medical missions to Haiti.
