Artist’s Reflections
What you see or don’t see is a culmination of 39 years of living and 18 years of designing. Much of the work is an outward expression of an inward soul; sometimes conscious, sometimes unconscious.

My story: Outwardly, I have aspired to be a lawyer, a musician, an ad man, shopkeeper, gallery owner, marketing consultant, health educator and movie producer. Inwardly, I have always wanted to be spiritually centered; be a son, brother, husband, father and friend that was always showing a care and concern. At the edge of 40, I realize that everything that I’ve done has not incidentally or accidentally happened. My jewelry reflects my connected care when someone says dissappointedly, “Why don’t they have bangles that fit me?” or “Why don’t people make clip-ons that have style?” The geometric nature of the jewelry comes from my constant need to explain everything. There is much symbolism in the work; the clean definite lines come from an overcompensation for a tremor which I have always had in my hands.

Aesthetically, I have always liked classics with a taste of mischief. Much of the work has movement, color or reversibility to reflect the mischievous twist. Finally, I it owe to my Mom, my wife, sons and other extended part of the union (and this includes you) to give my best. I hope you can feel the passion, energy and love when we cross paths.
