Julie Breaux is an up and coming artist from Lafayette, Louisiana.  She started painting about eight years ago after building her first home and wanting to decorate with “original art .  She experimented with different mediums and quickly discovered her love for color and texture in acrylic.  Whether a whimsical floral, a streetscape, abstract or still life, her bright and bold use of color are sure to lift your spirits.  Julie’s work is gaining fast notoriety throughout the community.  Her work can be seen in Lafayette and New Orleans as well as in private collections internationally.   She is inspired by family and friends and South Louisiana culture which all contribute to the artist she has become.
